1972
D.V. Bhaskar Rao founds Rajyalakshmi Coated Wires. Initial capacity: 50 MT/month. Focus on CHQ wire for local fastener manufacturers.
1986
Company formally incorporated. Production systems formalised. First major supply relationships established with Bangalore-area manufacturers.
1990s
Capacity expanded. Bell furnaces installed for atmosphere-controlled annealing — a key differentiator that eliminates oxidation during the softening process.
2000s
In-house metallurgical laboratory established. Tensile testing, microstructural analysis, and high-precision microscopy added to quality workflow. Every coil now verified before dispatch.
2010s
Second generation joins operations. Srikumar leads production. D.V. Ramachandra leads commercial. Capacity scaling continues toward 1,000 MT.
2015
Advanced Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) commissioned. Environmental compliance integrated into production operations.
2020
Spheroidising annealing capability added for complex alloy grades including SCM 435, 52100, 9254, and 15B25.
Today
1000 MT monthly capacity. 900 MT consistent output. Supplying fastener and automotive component manufacturers across India.
